Novrix Sports

Privacy policy

Last updated:

Novrix Sports is an app for running open-play queues and learning badminton. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.

The short version

We don’t collect any information about you. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn’t send anything to us or to anyone else.

What the app stores, and where

The app saves the following only on your device, so it’s still there next time you open the app:

  • your settings (language, appearance and sport)
  • your learning progress and training-plan ticks
  • the queue you’re running: player names, games, results and any fees you enter
  • your list of regular players

We can’t see any of this. It stays on your phone and is deleted when you delete the app. Keep in mind that names you type in are other people’s names, and only enter what they’re happy to have on your phone.

Backups

If you tap Back up data in Settings, the app puts everything above into one file and opens the iOS share sheet so you can choose where to keep it (for example Files, iCloud Drive, AirDrop or a chat). The file holds the names, results and fees you entered, so keep it somewhere you trust. We never receive it. Restore from a backup reads a file you pick and replaces the data on the phone.

Sharing

If you tap Share results, the app opens the standard iOS share sheet with a text summary of the night. You choose where it goes (for example, a group chat). From then on, that app’s privacy policy applies.

Links

Rules pages link to each sport’s official rulebook. Tapping a link opens it in your browser, and that website’s privacy policy applies.

Children

The app doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app ever starts collecting information, we’ll update this policy and the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
